Data Centre Testing?

No Problem.

New data centres are designed and expected to run continuously and reliably. To ensure that a data centre maintains its reliability, it’s essential that the infrastructure is thoroughly tested prior to production. Testing the infrastructure involves simulating the characteristics of the IT equipment as closely as possible. The safest and most economical way to test a data centre is to use a heat load bank; this provides electrical load and produces a heat load, facilitating testing of the electrical and cooling systems in a controlled environment. Different load profiles can be created to test uneven load distribution, low load or overload.

HeatLoad has worked in conjunction with leading mechanical and electrical consultants and commissioning engineers to develop a range of products and services that safely and accurately test your data centre.

HeatLoad products have been successfully used for the testing of small, medium and mega data centres, ITEC rooms, containerised, modular and prefabricated IT rooms across the globe, in all market sectors. Available on an equipment only hire basis or as part of a fully managed installation, operation and maintenance services. Our equipment has been used to test other critical facilities such as plant rooms, NOC bridges, trading floors and offices.

Testimonials

“We would like to pass our thanks to you and your team for all of the work carried out on this prestigious project (EDS Wynyard). We have had to work to a tight programme that has included many changes, and have been impressed with your can-do attitude and professional approach; from the labour on site to the final account stage.”

“Following an exhaustive search and test process, HeatLoad was selected to provide the heat load test of our revolutionary, ultra-efficient bladeroom data centre facility. Our requirements were precise in terms of the performance criteria of the heat load, which had to replicate the characteristics of servers as closely as possible. The units were delivered to site, in data centre friendly packaging. Installation was successfully carried out by HeatLoad, to our schedule, with the minimum fuss. HeatLoad provided a full turnkey service throughout the testing, with the heat loads performing as expected.”

“10 out of 10. The install team were very flexible and accommodated all requests and met our expectations.”
